On December 9, 2011, BSN® held its third annual Employee Appreciation Day & Charity Fundraiser in support of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The event featured plenty of exciting casino-style games and a raffle featuring numerous excellent prizes donated by BSN® and the company’s generous vendor partners. Employees had the opportunity to “gamble” for raffle tickets or simply buy them outright, with all proceeds being donated to St. Jude.

Last year, BSN®’s employees and vendors combined to raise over $131,000 for this worthy charity. BSN® had hoped to raise the bar this year, and it turns out everyone was up to the task! This year’s event was every bit as much fun as last year’s and the fundraising effort was even more successful, as together everyone raised a grand total of $156,500 for the children of St. Jude.

BSN® continues to be overwhelmed by the generosity of its vendors and employees and the enthusiasm everyone shows for this tremendously worthy charity. BSN® would especially like to thank Elliott Carmi of Carmi Flavors, who once again demonstrated his generosity by making a significant contribution to the cause for the third year in a row.

Founded in 1962, St. Jude has been a leader in the advancement of research and treatment of childhood cancer and other major illnesses. BSN® is honored to be in a position to offer support to this important organization, and hopes that the money raised will go a long way toward finding cures for serious childhood illnesses and improving the lives of the children of St. Jude.
