After six years as a valued member of Team BSN® and more than 20 years as a competitive athlete, professional cyclist Antony Galvan is hanging up his jersey. The 40-year-old San Diego native recently announced his retirement from competitive cycling after years of dominating the California circuit while also experiencing success on the national and international levels. Thanks to his sheer longevity, Antony’s many professional accomplishments are too numerous to list, but among them are 20 state titles, 5 national titles, a world silver medal, a time trial world record that stood for five years and a four-year winning streak at the most prestigious race on the California circuit. As passionate and driven as he is gifted, Antony proved himself a force to be reckoned with every time he pulled on his jersey and went toe-to-toe with the best his sport had to offer.
Through all the success over the last six years of his career, Antony represented BSN® to the world with passion, dignity and a relentless commitment to excellence. He relied on the products and believed in the company, and BSN® relished his success and watched with pride as he carved out a legacy in his sport that won’t soon be forgotten. BSN® truly couldn’t have asked for a better representative these past six years, and will always consider Antony a part of the BSN® family.
Finally, BSN® would just like to say congratulations, Antony, on a fantastic career. We know you’ll be successful in whatever endeavor you choose to apply your talents to next, and we can’t thank you enough for all that you’ve meant to the brand over the years.
